First of all, the target is to make people aware of the importance of promoting such activities which generate income, as a contribution for the local economy and for the satisfaction of the communities’ basic needs.

The second step is the training (managing of microcredit, planning and managing of micro-enterprising activities, accounting and marketing). Italian specialists will train the coordinators of the regional centres, who later will train the people in the cooperatives. The project, in fact, plans the creation of 5 regional centres, whose tasks will be to coordinate the activities in each village, to promote the experience and knowledge exchange, to supply technical assistance and to ensure to everyone the possibility to use technical and computer equipment. These centres, monitored and periodically visited by Italian technicians, will have to act as the interlocutors and the partners for these communities and for the institutions of the local government, trying to propel in the direction of good sector policies, offering services and an opportunity for confrontation and training.

The training phase will be followed by the supply of credit and the launching of the activities.

What has already been done

- creation and consolidation of youth organizations and credit organizations in 10 villages

- training of the staff and of 250 young people

- support, through microcredit, of 6 youth cooperative enterprises

- creation of the national net of village's youth organizations
